This document, published by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in October 2003 sets out the guide lines for procurement within Local Government. |
Electronic Trading or e-procurment is just one of the areas covered and states that by 2005 all councils must be procuring electronically, in addition that by 2006; all councils should have access to an appropriate emarketplace with access to a competitive number of suppliers |
